MEG HOWALD member of the Toronto Film Industry

I am screenplay writer (twelve scripts), novelist (four novels) and film maker (eight films), along with being represented by The Porter Talent Group for acting.  I’m passionate about crafting stories  - socio-psychological  thrillers.  My first feature film was The Gold Fish Bowl (Winner Best Feature – The Toronto Independent Film Festival), then came Mozart,  Honest People, Private Eye, The Dress and Chameleon an ACTRA production.  Completed feature screenplays are Unseen and Sanditon Rising.  In development  are A Summer with Adam Sandler (feature drama) and a mini-series, Someone Died in My House (a supernatural adaptation).  I have lived in three provinces, on two continents and by the hemlines of the Aegean, the Mediterranean, the Atlantic, the St. Lawrence, and the Great Lakes.  As a creative writing prof in Ontario, I value my students as readers and film goers and constantly discuss what is working and not working in current releases.
